They're realistically allowed to operate as a monopoly, making services offered and customer service secondary to offered products. They absolutely artificially inhibit progress. Why do you think they only offer pop email, or rank so poorly in customer service indexes? You are welcome to defend them, and am still forced to buy from them, but if google came to town tomorrow you would bail too. I don't want to wait for modern speeds. I don't want telecomm CEO's speaking for me, saying customers don't want these things. I know that wasn't cox but it speaks to the industries attitude. Maybe if more customers said they wanted real speed they would listen. So thank you for being satisfied with mediocrity.
