All,
I have a Cisco DPC3825 cable modem / wireless router. The range is TERRIBLE. As a result, I am looking to connect a Netgear WNR2000 router to the Cisco DPC3825. Here is what I understand I need to do based on looking at other forums:
1.) Disable wireless, DHCP and firewall on the Cisco DPC3825
2.) Enable wireless, DHCP and firewall (standard config) on the Netgear WNR2000
3.) Connect the Netgear WNR2000 to the Cisco DPC3825 on the "Internet Port" of the Netgear to the #1 position port on the Cisco DPC3825
I did this, and no dice. I get no internet connection from the wireless router. Thoughts? Ideas?
