I have recently upgraded to Cox Ultimate. I have a new wireless router that I'm putting a 3 Terabyte Hd on. I also have an Antenna that should extend my wireless network to 20 to 30 miles. I'm going to rent high speed Internet and access to setup programs, TV series and Movies on the Hard Drive.
I think I'm only limited on the amount of users by the download/Upload cap of 400 GB and I think I can control that buy monitoring usage and setting limits on download/upload of the users.
I'm very happy with the router as using a router usually slows the speeds, however this one does not. I'm getting about 95 Mbps almost constantly. The Router is a TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N300 Router and the antenna is a TP-LINK TL-ANT2424B 2.4GHz 24dBi Directional Grid Parabolic Antenna.
It will be some time before all this is setup and I understand that as my network grows I'll more than likely convert to a Business Account in stead of Residential service
What I would like to know is how to access the Unlimited Storage with my Ultimate, and if and how I can temporarily use that space to do the above sharing with users on my network.
If all this sounds confusing it's probably because I'm confused. I've been around computers, build and configure them but I'm new to Networking and would appreciate the help.
