I recently tried to take advantage of the 5$ to increase my internet tier but after a few days I noticed I was getting the same exact speeds. I called in to tech support and their solution is to send a tech out so I just went back to preferred to save myself the headache. After doing some research online I saw this post in the forum http://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/5/t/2038.aspx. This person seems to have the same problem and someone fixed his issues but I'm not sure how. Please help ChrisL!
