RE: Errors in modem log Critical? SB6180

"Missing BP Configuration Setting TLV," "TLV-11 - unrecognized OID," "DHCP RENEW WARNING - Field invalid in response v4 option," and "DHCP WARNING - Non-critical field invalid in response" are all scary-sounding but harmless errors. They variously mean that either the config file from the headend was missing information or contained information the modem doesn't understand that either way is not important to the operation of the modem, or a DHCP request or response contained information the modem or headend didn't understand or was missing information not important to the operation of the modem.

"SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire (X)" is a more important error, but it's not a really severe one in the log you posted. It becomes an issue if it ends with "Loss of Sync" rather than "Failed to acquire" because then the modem will have to stop and resync (and it will show in our diagnostics as a lost sync).

The T3 and T4 timeouts would be the things I'm most concerned about, but unless you notice your modem resetting they may not even be a major issue.

Your signal levels are fine, in fact the receive level is a little on the high side.

Basically, in a nutshell, unless you're looking at the log to diagnose a problem you noticed some other way, I wouldn't worry.
