So here is my problem. I have The Netgear CG3000D. There are only 3 units that access this router cable modem at any time. My mother's MacBook Pro, my Macmini and my son's iPad. I received an email notification last month that we had gone over our 250gb data limit. I have done everything in my power to locate the usage drain as it were. My son is limited to 2 hours of online time with his iPad and I have a data monitor on the iPad now. Both my mother and my computers should not be the reason for this but I have a data monitor on my Macmini to keep an eye on it as well. I have had a tech out and got little to no real answers. I have had a friend who has background in IT help me make sure that my router is secured and that my WiFi is not being hijacked. At this point I am well beyond frustrated with this whole mess. Nothing that we do online should be using the 13GB that the data meter shows just for yesterday used. So any assistance would be appreciated on this. This is almost reaching a point that I have started looking at different service providers.
