I pay monthly for the router I have now. It would be nice if I could switch it out for a dual band router. I mentioned this to the technician the other day and he said he only had one dual band router that was scheduled to be installed somewhere else. So, he gave me the same Cisco router I had before and with it, the old problems have returned. I have tried switching the radio channels many times and yes, the area I live in is quite congested with other channels already - some 12 or so.
I would love to resolve this matter with my router. I have been a COX customer for a little over a year now and I'd like to remain so. What would you suggest I do other than keep switching radio channels on the router?
