---This is an update and re postas my issue is still not resolved even though the forum says it is.
I am aware other cox customers in my area, on the same node are also effected.
The cox maintenance team has been working on this issue for over a month now with still no resolve. Rain, snow, wind, dry hot or cold doesn't seem to make a difference as to the erratic speeds. They are trying, but unfortunately cannot find the cause as it is erratic.
Soo, long story short, I think I've met all the service techs and subs that work for cox in my area due to them constantly coming out to repair my issue, The service guys change things, saying there's issues in the area, saying the infrastructure before me is old, and lastly kicking it "up" to so called supervisors. I perform there cox speed tests regularly which are recorded only to see nothing has changed even though there's a speed record, or lack there of.
There current solution is to credit my account for internet for the last month and hope i go a way i figure at this point.
Any one else have issues like this and could suggest a direction to turn?
