Unknown Disconnection Issue

There doesn't seem to be a solution to the disconnections that I and some are plagued with.  I believe and can only assume it to be a weather issue that happens when it reaches a certain temperature degree.   Since the box is outside and not inside that is most likely the issue. I thank the forums helpers that have assisted but I don't know what another visit would accomplish besides something worse for me. I already have less cable and already have master bedroom cable disconnected and it was advised to be like that so my internet would be stronger by one of the cox techs because he would have to put another splitter on it.

I just have to accept I'm in a bad neighborhood and that's what I get so either I should move(can't really afford to move though) or put up with it. They are obviously not going to switch out an expensive box unit/ amplifier whatever it is.  I don't even know a 100% sure that's the root of the problem but it seems it happens during the hottest part of the day when it reaches a certain temperature. Don't know what device would cause me to lose connection when at a certain temperature and making the frequency change but that would be where I would look first if I was a tech.  Maybe it's not in the budget or permitted through my landlord or city. My landlord wont say anything besides it's between me and cox.

I remember being told by a cox tech at my other apartment that people have problems with boxes outside that's why they put them inside now. To keep them cooler I assume. I believe I'm correct and nothing will be done to fix this because they don't have authorization to issue such a ticket. That's why we keep going in circles. IMHO
